The guests at the Rescue Mission enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving meal on Monday night, November 25. The holiday meal consisted of ham, cranberries, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls and pumpkin crumb pie.
The meal was provided by long-time volunteer Mario Martinez, his wife Rosa and nephew Aryk. The Martinez family belong to Faith Bible Church. Mario says: “My church has been faithfully supporting and ministering to the Mission for almost 40 years.” Mario is a regular guest preacher and someone from his church has been presenting the message twice a week. Mario adds, “I want the men to know they are cared for.”
Thank you to the Martinez family for providing such a great Thanksgiving treat to the men at the Mission!
