The Edwards Aquifer Authority (EAA), neighbor across the street from the Rescue Mission, had a month-long food drive specifically for the men at the mission. Mr. Roland Ruiz, General Manager, Mr. Brock Curry, Deputy General Manager, and other EAA staff members presented the huge colorful box of food to SARM President Jake Cherry in the lobby of the EAA building located at 900 East Quincy. There were so many cans and boxes that the huge box split open as they tried to transfer it to the dolly! The EAA staff was later given a tour of the Mission by Jake. Those participating in the event included Michael de la Garza, Senior Director of Communications and Development, Breanna Sauceda, Development Coordinator, Sara Valdez, STEM School Educator, Olivia Ybarra, HCP Coordinator and Javier Hernandez, Special Projects Liaison.THANKS to the Edwards Aquifer Authority for your generous donation of food to the Mission. The men surely appreciate it!
