Rescue Mission guests had a great Christmas celebration in 2017. Woodland Baptist Church volunteers served a wonderful lasagna meal with green beans, fruit, bread and dessert. Church members also provided a Xmas bag of goodies with t-shirts, ball caps, socks, wash rags and soap, chap-stick, tissues and candy. Jake Cherry gave his traditional Christmas Eve service with Christmas carols and celebration of the Lord’s supper. Then the men were given big Christmas bags full of candy, cookies, hats, toiletries and other donated items. The Christmas lights and manger scene outside the Mission looked wonderful!
We look forward to year 2018 at the Mission and thank all the volunteers and staff who work hard to make the men feel special. Thanks to everyone who supports the Mission.
